I feel like my father right now and it’s terrifying me. I don’t feel very upset. Perhaps it hasn’t sunk in? Triton and I weren’t together for very long, after all. I think he grew attached much faster.
Why should you feel like Zeus if you didn’t have chemistry with him? And what makes you say that?
I thought we did for a while but… It was only in the moments he stopped being himself that I felt a connection. He’d act more like I wanted him to and it’d spark my interest, but then he would return to being himself and I didn’t… I didn’t want that.
He…he’d say things and always want to hold me or keep me around, and he’d give me gifts and pet names…
